Dr. Nader Hamdan
BDS, MSc, MDent(Perio), FRCD(C), Diplomate ABP
Dr. Hamdan is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program, Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University. He received BDS (DDS) from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1999. After he graduated he practiced general dentistry for 12 years before going on to pursue an MSc in dental sciences at McGill University.
He graduated from McGill in 2013 and went on to complete a MDent in Periodontics at the University of Manitoba and a Master in Dentistry (Specialty: Periodontics), Dr. Hamdan is certified as a periodontist and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He has also passed the Qualifying and Oral Exams of the American Board in Periodontology and is a Diplomate and ABP Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr. Hamdan enjoys lecturing and sharing knowledge with his colleagues. He gives regular CDE courses and writing. He has written books and articles for peer-reviewed publications and has contributed to works by other researchers.
In his spare time, Dr. Hamdan loves to hike, travel, play volleyball, and spend time with his wife and three children.
